I agree with HO. Also, talk to your doctor and ask for his opinion as well. My doctor suggested "One a Day Mulitvitamin for Women". He is also a firm believer of fish oil supplements - my husband takes those. Suppose to help joints & cholesterol - he can tell a difference and has been taking those for about a year.
We are decaffeinated - We drink decaff green tea with a slice of lemon or lime. Decaf coffee & ALOT of water. - no sodas or juice of any kind. The ONLY caffeine we get is chocolate - and that is very sparingly but very needed! I can tell since we have been off caffeine - 11 years now.
Good luck!

I am a huge believer in the natural way for health. Not saying we shouldn't use doctors or anything......but the word pharmacy comes from the word sorcery. I am afraid that sometimes that is what people are doing when they medicate. They eat wrong and live wrong and then want a pill to just "fix" them.
We take daily multi-vits and then fish oil, b vitamins, baby aspirin.
My husband takes glucosamine/chondroitin. He has a bad hip and a few years ago he started taking g/c and wearing some shoe inserts called spinkos. They have helped immensely. He has also just recently started taking something called Cardioauxin for high cholesteral. Hopefully that will help.
I take Black Cohosh Root for pre-menopausal symptoms and also I use a natural progesterone cream for the same thing.
I know that some medications are necessary, I suppose, but I would want to take the natural route first and also try to just live and eat right.

I take a multi-vitamin, C, E, B Complex, and liquid minerals. My husband and I also eat a low carbohydrate diet, with carbohydrates that we do eat being vegetables, fruits, and whole grains. My husband also does running and strength training.
We are very rarely sick (generally one cold a year) and have no health issues at all.

It took me awhile to find a vitamin I could take without it making me sick to my stomach...mainly because anything with iron in it gives me a tummy ache...I'm supposed to take it...LOL...I just refuse...anyway, I take Oil of Olay Total Effects vitamins...Women's Multi-vitamin (minus iron), plus a Vitamin E, Green Tea pill and one other one...
I also can't stand to take huge pills, so I looked for something on the smaller side...
There are also good liquid vitamin/mineral supplements you can put in juice, etc, if you hate taking pills...check with a natural food store.

Fruits and vegetables are good for you, but they don't contain all the nutrients humans need to be healthy.
Diet Soda? Try drinking water instead. Even sweetened tea would be better than soda, diet or otherwise.

Re: Vitamins
I have been taking Ultra Hair. I heard about it at a hair show for apostolic women. It is supposed to help make your hair grow. I've been taking it for a month..... I think it is working, but it could be in my head!

Re: Vitamins
Borage Oil is great all around. When taken consistantly, I notice that my nails are mega strong and they grow faster... Also, it is very healthy for the heart! I take vitamins every day. Lots of B's!

Just make sure your soda never gets hot, and you'll be fine.
Switching to WATER and tea is much better than diet soda.
