Adam was the FIRST MAN Joel...yet your take has him being the second man made after those on day 6
Gen 5:1 This is the book of the
generations of Adam.
In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
Gen 5:2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
This proves once and for all Joel that Gen 1:26 was when Adam was created. Gen 2 is an elaboration of day 6
1Co 15:45 Thus it is written, "
The first man Adam became a living being"; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
The obvious fact is....to everyone but Joel, is that Joel has NO scripture to back up his assertion. He has only his fanciful opinion.
Adam was named "Adam" because HE was the first human being
She was named EVE because she was the mother of all the living
Gen 3:20 And Adam called his wife's name Eve, because she was the mother of all living.
Obviously not talking about animals but other humans like her for God said they all beget after THEIR OWN KIND.
