I am going to DC this fall for the first time, courtesy of my brother. I am pretty excited about that!
Also, my daughter and I received a gift certificate for Christmas for a weekend at the coast, and my extended family may go to the mountains for a few days together this summer. We have friends who have a cabin we can use. The great thing about CA is you can pretty much be in all different environments within two hours.
On the flip side, my daughter will be going to Guyana on a missions trip in June, and then she is going to Sweden to see friends toward the end of summer. I'm not jealous,
really.
