How does this fit into the
UNCONDITIONAL LOVE theory?
21: He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be
loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
John 14:21
23: Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words:
and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
John 14:23
The truth is
IF we love Jesus as defined by
HIMSELF as keeping his word we will continue in his love.
9: As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
10:
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
John 15:9-10
No "unconditional love" doctrine wont help us be overcomers.
If one is truly saved he will be a
NEWCREATION in Christ Jesus. Thats where it starts. Is the person really born of God?
