Perhaps I also worded it wrong as well.
I should have said that it "appears" to me, and I could be wrong, that those symptoms are the result of insecurity.

Again I am awfully sorry for making you upset.
It's ok, I guess I am a little sensitive about it. I have always been a strong person. Because of my husbands Asperger's I have always been the one who had to be responsible for everything. And so I am somewhat of a control freak, you know? Then I start getting these paralyzing attacks that I can't do anything about.

I was determined to be the one to not succumb (There are 6 members in my immediate family who suffer from anxiety/panic disorder, ranging from moderate to severe.)

You have shown yourself to be strong & accomplish a lot-more than most.
For that I admire you.
You are in my prayers!

Eliseus, Question? Would you allow your child to learn by experience that pouring a pan of boiling water over their head is "bad". Would you allow them to learn the danger of fire, by burning down the house and killing the rest of their family? Would you teach them to avoid strangers by allowing them to be kidnapped by some psychopath?

Thanks Ron.

I can't lie, this past year has pretty much been one of the worst on record. And I am no saint like Job, I am more likely to assume God's been sleeping on the job and try and wake him up! And if that doesn't work...

Re: Truthfully...Do you believe in luck?

Suppose I was an atheist (I'm not, but just suppose), and I trusted in myself to be safe. Things go pretty well, most of the time, but one day, tragedy. I slip up and make a bad judgment in driving, and I crash into a tree. Whose fault is it?

Suppose I was a Oneness Pentecostal (ditto), and I trusted in God to protect me. Things go pretty well, most of the time, but one day, tragedy. God slips up and lets me make a bad judgment in driving, and I crash into a tree. Whose fault is it?

Hmm. Maybe you guys are right! If I trust God, I don't have to take the blame for anything!

Slight goof, there, of course. God wouldn't slip up. He would intentionally allow me to make that bad judgment. Same question: whose fault is it?

But again, slight goof: it's a silly question. It's nobody's fault. It was God's will for me.

Back to your regularly scheduled program.

You judge God by your own standards. He judges you by His. Who is right?

Everyone does that. E.g., if you say "God is good", what do you mean?
