What are they left with? And I am not talking about people that really know God well. And it doesn't really matter where or who is preaching or praying. But Jesus didn't just heal bodies, he saved souls. Instead of seeing that part of it, they were only showing the "healing" part of the program. Maybe that's why it bothered me. And I have seen people healed and I have been healed. But I have also been to a church where the preacher literally pushed you and hurt you to try to get you to go down.

You bring up some good points Cindy-
I gotta go to church now, I'll talk later

Re: Lakeland Florida Revival?????
I'll tell you a story (and a confession) about falling out.
I went to the Vineyard Church in Springdale, OH from 1992 until about 2 years ago. While at the Vineyard, I was on different prayer teams and even was a POC (Pastor on Call) for a while. Mahesh Chavda came to our church for three nights of meetings. As part of the prayer team, I was expected to be there and to pray with folks. Mahesh preached/taught and then the altar would be opened. Anyone who wanted prayer could come forward and line up across the front. Members of the prayer team would stand behind (as catchers) and in front of those who came forward and would pray with them. Just about everyone would fall as they received prayer. I was turned off. I felt like the falling was a conditioned response even though we were told not to touch anyone to pray for them without getting their permission first and we were told not to push anyone. I was so turned off by the "falling" that I remained at the back of the church and did not pray for anyone. There were plenty of people available to pray so they didn't "need" me. I just felt like I couldn't be part of all the "falling." It was probably just pride but I wouldn't admit it. A few weeks later one of the pastors was teaching and told about an incident that happened while Mahesh Chavda was there. A couple drove some distance to have Mahesh pray for them. The woman had been healed of cancer some time in the past after Mahesh had prayed for her. They brought their dog who needed healing. I don't remember what exactly the problem was with the dog. They did not bring the dog into the church during a service but met privately with Mahesh and some prayer team members. When Mahesh laid his hands on the dog, the dog fell. The Lord quietly reminded me that the dog hadn't fallen because he had seen others falling and it wasn't just a conditioned response.

Sam, I don't doubt what you're saying but I would love to see a dog fall out under the power of the Holy Spirit!!!!

I didn't see it. I was told about it.
A pastor who was there mentioned it and someone else who was there confirmed it, and they chuckled about it.
I felt like it was a "gentle" rebuke to me from Jesus for my lousy stand-offish attitude during all that falling out in those services.

I started laughing out loud as soon as I read it! I think I'm going to go lay hands on my cats right now! if I can find them!
He rebukes those He loves, Sam.

I know God is able, actually all it did was build my faith and made me desire to see those things take place in my own church in my own ministry.
Bottom line God is able to heal--anyone, anywhere anytime.

I have no doubt that he can, and does heal any who come to him in faith.
But the danger of this "revival" is that because it does not lead the seeker to Acts 2:38 salvation, they go away healed in the natural, but dead in the spiritual. And all the while believing the lie that they are all right.
Let us all learn well the lesson of Nabad and Abihu. Though they had fire, and offered worship, it was not according to Gods commandment (doctrine), and they were destroyed for it.
Lev 10:1 And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not.
Lev 10:2 And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.
Lev 10:3 Then Moses said unto Aaron, This [is it] that the LORD spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace.

(briefly, very briefly) laying hands on a cat might be OK, but don't try to baptize one.
It was a gentle rebuke and I took is as from the Lord.
I probably need another reminder. I see lots of falling.
Someone said, "The Lord convicts. The devil condemns."
cats can pray, and hug one another, but baptism is not recommended, see pix below
