Oh he would have gotten P L E N T Y of love and affirmation's at my house.. my grandfather would have given him some of that "razor strap" affirmation.... Gosh "love and affirmation" sound ssooooo politically correct.. so ughhhh

He is loved when he is fed and trust me from the looks of it... he gets plenty of love.. he is loved when he is clothed and in his case that is XXX love.... he is loved when he is cared for ........ past all that baloney is he crossed the line and he better THANK JEHOVAH GOD HIMSELF that those cameras were rolling...

It's about 1 minute into the clip
Wow, he told her to shut up and she did. He is definitely the one in control.
She obviously threatens and waits to follow through until she is angry, which is the worst time to discipline a child. This gives spankings a bad name. She is trying to parent by being a bully. My guess is she doesn't have a clue on how to raise a child and is a very frustrated parent. Any time a person's stress level gets to high their true nature comes out. I don't think that the situation with with the daughter that died of cancer is the problem, but her true nature which is easy to keep hidden when not in stressful situations. The situation with her daughter brought her stress level to a point that her true nature came out.

Love is having time to really listen to a toddler when they speak and hear what they say. Love is paying attention to all that they do so you can correct them when they are wrong. Love is taking the time to correct a child instead of berating them for something they really didn't know they did wrong. Love isn't getting angry or upset when they do something that makes us want to blow our top, but give them stiff consequences that make them not want to do it again. Children want a reaction and anger is a reaction that is better than you being calm and in control. They will continue to do what gets a reaction from you. Don't react even though you want to. Self control, one of the fruits of the spirit, is definitely something you need in parenting.

Shut up is rude and disrespectful. Be quiet doesn't have to be soft, you can be very firm without yelling.

I just wonder how the kid got that way... the parents are the problem, I think. If he is like he is, it is her and her husbands fault.

"Shut up" is not necessary. I agree.
