WWOD vs Dan: Who would take the crown?

Dan, you've heard my advice.

Frankly, and this from someone who has always enjoyed message board brawls, were I you, I KNOW what I'd be doing: spending all my free time, wining, dining and smooching on that beautiful little girlfriend of yours.

I do feel that PP has spoken for me regarding the advisability of this, though I don't quite share the magnitude of his dire predictions concerning your whole life and ministry.

But if George Foreman introduced me at ringside and asked for my prognostication, here it is:

Well George, as someone who has bloodied up both of them I think my opinion is credible.

What makes this matchup intriguing is that BOTH of these guys are the best ever on pentecostal message boards at using the old tactic called "the heap" ... heck, if they don't have an argument, they just pile up thousands of posts to make you THINK they know what they're talking about.

It could be a matchup for the ages and this matchup COULD finally use up all the rest of the bandwidth on the internet.

My prediction?

I don't think it will be a ten-count knockout but I don't think it will be all that close to the perceptive reader.

Dan is younger and more unflappable.

Both fighters use a stiletto so subtly when they are in good form, but I know from experience that WWOD can be jabbed silly and then he comes roaring in with a butcher's cudgel, which is easy to dodge.

Get WWOD flustered and he starts with the boorish insults. Believe me, the Alicea kid has the ability to get him flustered and way off his game.

I do respect WWOD as an internet fighter but "Samurai" may be a bit much. What others have called "brilliance" I see mixed with a lot of wordiness and verbosity and frankly, gobbledygook that means nothing.

CC1 had a point when he said 90 percent of WWOD's post mean something and the other 10 percent are gobbledygook.

I agree with CC1 in principle, but just reverse the percentages.

Alicea is unflappable and will be standing long after WWOD self-destructs.

WWOD's reputation as an unassailable internet genius and all-time-champion fighter mainly come from his small but fanatically devoted group of sycophants who would rave if a piano fell on him that he beat the piano because the keyboard got broken in the fall.

When you peruse his posts and arguments with any degree of objectivity and intelligence .... you plainly see he AIN'T all that.

Alicea is younger and more unflappable. In 12 rounds of internet boxing, what was thought by the unobservant to be a titanic struggle gets stopped in the 7th round with WWOD battered and bloodied on the ropes.
