Re: The infallible Word of God?

Bump!

I've made my thoughts known on this topic already (have I "bent" the rules, maybe a tad? ). So, how about you folks that believe the Bible is infallible, inspired by God? Tell us why you believe that. And why you believe (if you do) that this is true of all 66 books of the Protestant canon, and that all the books God meant to be there are there, and that there are no books that should be there but are not.

You do believe that, don't you?

My mind is changeable. Why shouldn't it be? It has changed a number of times on this and many other topics. It's all well and good to be fairly well convinced of something (whether it's the Bible's infallibility or the best way to cook a steak), but how could you be so certain of anything that you would never consider any other possibilities?

The wonderful concept of having an open mind is knowing when to close it. You can't just walk around with perfectly open mind, your brain will fall out!

I have studies this subject long enough to conclude that it is a waste of time to try and argue it with anyone.

Fired up number 46. It's an 18 minute video. Is that the average length?

This could take a while!

I guess that's the average length, if I remember correctly they range anywhere from 9 min to 25 min. These teachers are Evangelicals not Pentecostals, you may find that more to your liking.

Don't forget to put the popcorn in the microwave!

This is my favorite one out of that list. It's a case presentation of the resurrection of Christ.

What is the external evidence for the inspiration of Scripture? Part 2
