Re: Your Opinion on Wal Mart Please

One man said that when he dies he wants to be buried in the middle isle of WalMart...

....that way he would be 100% assured his wife would visit his grave at least 2 times a week.

Re: Your Opinion on Wal Mart Please

You guys would die of shock if I said anything that wasn't totally contrary....so here goes.

I hate walmart, I agree with almost everything Mark said (Yes, I am the liberal tree-hugger type), in addition to that my husband did work for walmart at one time, and he was very badly treated. We tend to refer to them as "The man". (i.e. everything that we are against )

HOWEVER, that being said, 1.) it's all my little hick town has. and 2.) my husband has been out of work for over 15 months.

My principles are always warring against themselves. Should I live on ramen noodles so that I can avoid walmart? Should I line the pockets of Saudi Arabia oil barons and pollute the environment just to drive 30 miles to shop elsewhere?

For now, I make do. But I am looking forward to the future. (Target will be coming to my town in 2009 )

Mark,
I have to tell you what happened the other day!!

This blind guy walks in with his dog, picks the dog up and starts swinging him around by his lease!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I noticed the Manager watching him. He walked over and said, "Sir, could I help you?"

The Blind guy said,

"No, thanks, I'm just looking around."

There you go Mark...you've got your gift registry and the cake. You're halway down the aisle
