Well, we are going to our last church service here and I really have mixed emotions about it. My husband called the pastor almost a week ago to tell him it would be our last service and the pastor said "Good". So, that's kindof hard to take. However, there are people I've known since I received the HG at this church whom I love dearly and do not want to leave without saying goodbye, so I'll go for them!

Carey, the pastor was HAPPY about you leaving??? Unbelievable!! How sad.
So tell us how church went today. I'm interested to hear. I know it must have been hard to say good-bye to some of your friends there. We had a pastor who left one time to go to the mission field (actually that happened to me twice, but this one time....) when we planned a going away service, we sang to them, "I'll see you in the rapture. I'll see you in the rapture. I'll see you in that meeting in the air. There with our blessed SAvior, we'll live and reign forever, I'll see you in the rapture some sweet day."
And you're right. I did need that as much (or more) than the rest of you.
