I am conservative because I take a quite literal approach to scripture, believing even a layperson can find the key to eternal life in Jesus. I am conservative because I choose to discipline myself and my lifestyle far more than required by Christian liberty.
Finally, I am very conservative in dishing out judgement to Christians who love Jesus but have reached conclusions other than what I have, and leave the casting "into outer darkness" to Him that can actually accomplish it.

Do you have any idea how offensive that is to people who, in good conscience, could no longer subscribe to man made additions to the Word of God? The suggestion that people who have let traditional OP standards go have no conscience is very divisive. Why even go there?
