Not sure but then I don't have a problem with a folks dancing, but whatever it was you can bet it wouldn't be allowed in a conservative church because the pastor would forbid it and then David would go to hell for his disobedience.

I feel no need to answer the questions listed at the beginning of this thread, however I will say this,
When my Christianity is defined by what I Don't Do, Rather than what I Do, it is a very sad day indeed.

David danced Jewish dances ...
Jewish dancing was embraced by the early church as an integral part of celebrations and of worship. I have studied this for many years...
The first church was Jewish so it is not uncommon that they would build places just to dance and celebrate. It was dance from the other nations that was sensational...not Pure Jewish worship.
