Could be this is the same argument. Many Christians DO have the ability to think for themselves, to filter out the bad and all that. Although I hate TV, I don't believe the majority of what is on there is of any value, but I can choose for my family and don't need the mandate of the church bylaws indicating me how to impose, regulate, or implement morality.

I believe folks CAN own a TV and CAN own a computer and still be consistent with the Word of God.

So what if your pastor told you no? And you say the majority of TV has no value, so I give you this question, why dig through a garbage can to get a T-Bone steak?
