Wow, Rico, thanks for your condescendence...er...correspondence. You're right, I HAVE been convicted of SOMETHING. But just once. As Carp can attest, I've been almost perfect from the time I breathed my first breath.

Well, I can't help your interpretation or reading comprehension, so, I really don't know what to say.

No need to feel sorry for me, Prax, my church doesn't have less power, nor does it have more power. God has always been in the midst of our church and when we received His Spirit, we have always been endued with power from on high.

You can't handle the phenomenon that people who believe in the things you despise under the Apostolic umbrella really do have power from God. I feel sorry for the way you limit God and put him in a little box that only Prax thinks He can work in or from.

Yes. Seriously. My first avatar under this name is the very one. However, since this has been brought up, I may have to resurrect a Wonder Woman avatar I haven't yet used....just to celebrate.

So, have we yet determined the answer to the question?

It's all relative...

If you (the general use of the word 'you') believe that one is Apostolic who obeys the Apostles' Doctrine which was first preached in the Book of Acts, regardless of other differences of view, than yes, this forum is Apostolic...to you.

If you believe that one is Apostolic who obeys the Apostles' Doctrine which was first preached in the Book of Acts, as well as keeping to your views, and everyone not keeping them is headed to yon lower regions, than no, this forum isn't Apostolic...to you.

Re: AFF apostolic or not?

Now, dear ones dear any of us obey everything the first church did and practiced? Usually we obey what we like and make excuses for what we don´t like...

It takes much more than Acts 2:38...and 2:42 it there also...

When I read the history of the early christians I weep...I am the first to confess I stand in the balance with them and am lacking...
Please help me Jesus...

There sure has been a shift, now that I think about it...and it has been going on for longer than we know.
So you think the church accepting radio was caused by a "spirit"?
Is radio wrong, then?

Those who do "need" media for entertainment have very shallow lives.
Interesting.

Is there no such thing as wholesome entertainment, in your view?

1 Tim 6:17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

God gave me my TV to enjoy.
