People brag about God's goodness and protection, when good things happen or when sickness or accidents are not as bad as they might have been (which is nearly always the case, anyway).
Does God protect His children? Does He watch over them? When a little girl is molested by a prominent man of the church, was God watching? Does He stand by and watch as a believer dies of cancer, despite the desperate prayers of his loved ones?
Oh, but God knows what we need better than we do. His ways are not our ways. We can't question Him.
Well, I am not questioning or complaining to God. But anyone who says they believe the Bible is God's infallible word has to wonder: does God really keep His word? (How can you tell if He does or not?) Is He actually good, no matter what He does?

Sounds like you are agnostic?
