Re: Color

The only scripture I can think of that was used for make-up with be Jezebel's painted face.

As to coloring hair and etc. I don't know of any scripture ever used???

I have never seen anyone’s eye lashes turn darker or longer, eyelids turn blue or green or whatever color they put on their eyelids, when sexually aroused.

Many of the things you describe that takes place on a persons face when they are aroused is the same thing that happens when they run half a mile. There cheeks get flushed then too.
So then you DON'T see the purpose of women wearing makeup to make them attractive but rather to give them the appearance of being joggers.

Well if that helps you avoid the reality in back of the wearing of makeup in order to be attractive to the opposite sex, then I doubt anyone can disuade you.....

But maybe this can

Who was it, Art Garfunkle or Paul Simon who wrote ...

Who won't see? Ask yourself why a persons face changes when they are aroused? Does this happen at other times other than arousal? If so to say that is the reason makeup is worn is nothing short of nonsense.

Again, there is none so blind as he who WILL not see. Fortunately for thinking people all we have to do is look to Madison Avenue and find out the PACKAGING of the ads for this stuff to realize first and foremost what you refuse to, it IS a sex issue! It is a product not sold in relationship to Tennis Shoes and sweat sox, but rather in relationship to sexuality.

But as I said , no amount of reality will cause you t see it for what it most plainly is because you do not WISH to.

More nonsense!! Ever see the Doritos adds that are a blatant appeal to sex? Cars? Even job search websites have appealed to it.

You want it to be about sex...so anyone that disagrees with your assessment is blind.

Lets see, the almost virtually universal packaging and stated INTENT in back of cosmetics being to make the wearer SEXIER is NONSENSE? You really DO believe that women wear makeup to look like they have just run a marathon????? Who's zoomin who??? And BTW What planet do YOU live on? Bring this discussion back to the reality of the planet EARTH. Cosmetics ARE marketed to make women SEXIER not to make them appear as having just competed in a triathalon.

Countless magazine articles are published EACH MONTH in various magazine with the latest cosmetics and how to apply them so you will appear SEXIER.
IT IS ABOUT SEX. NOT ATHLETICS as you would have us believe.

And then you make the most valid of points...SEX SELLS! It is the tool used as you say for selling everything from Cars to Doritos! Should Gods people emulate this approach in THEIR packaging of themselves? As sexual objects flushed and available RIGHT NOW!

Your real problem seems to be that it bothers you for anyone to point out the OBVIOUS so that each saint of God can consider it themselves and perhaps come to a different conclusion than the one you obviously want them to come to.

Information is NOT scary to those who really want to know the truth on a matter. I put my information out there and there is TONS more on this subject available right here on the internet INCLUDING merely reproducing the cosmetic company ads to show what the real motivation in back of the whole practice is.

So, when I cover up the huge black circles that I have under my eyes (I hate allergies) it is a sexual thing?? I always thought it was a courtesy to those who have to look at me, and to avoid the questions about whether I have been punched in the eyes.

You continue to miss the point. I never said it was to make them LOOK athletic. I said the same LOOK that you are claiming they are trying to achieve takes place with excercise as well as sexual arousal.

Their motivation is to sell their product.

No of course not! But there are other ways to get rid of them, try getting proper sleep and taking an iron supplement. We are not discussing covering up circles under eyes . We are discussing something much different.
