Re: Your Opinion, Please....
Last time we were there, we went to the Natural Museum of History and were waiting on the steps for Bro. Bassett since he went to park the car, and while we were waiting, this guy steps up to my Hubby (coonhunter, redneck, country boy..you get the picture) and says...."Give you money." My husband looked at him and said "NO!" and just kept talking to Nate (bro. BAssett's son) and the guy took another step closer to him and said, "I said, give me your money." My husband looked at him and then turned to Nate and said, "Nate, what do you think this guy would do if I put a knot on his head so big that his sock hat wouldn't fit over it." He then turned to the guy and said, "You can't have my money, so go away." The guy walked off with me and Nate stading with our mouths hanging open. Nate said, "Bro. Carroll, you can't talk to people here like that." John said, "Well, I just did."
It was quiet and experience, one that I would not like to repeat, thank you very much.
We stood in line for 3 hours to get to the top of the Empire State Buidling, we get to the top, walk outside, and look over the edge, and Colton said, "Ok, I'm ready to go." We hadn't been there for 2 minutes and he was ready to go. I was ready to clobber him. (he's afraid of heights)
This time, if we go, they want to go to Ellis Island and go see the Statue of Liberty. John Robert is a history freak. He LOVES it. Colton does too, just not like John Robert.
So we are in a straight betwixt two.
