Oh bull. Christians look at MANY issues. Abortion is only one of them

- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

"Pray for our military men and women who are striving to do what is right. Also, for this country, that our leaders, our national leaders, are sending [U.S. soldiers] out on a task that is from God. That's what we have to make sure that we're praying for, that there is a plan and that plan is God's will." Did you catch that? Palin said that the Iraq war is “from God,” and that the soldiers fighting there “on a task from God.” . . . that could become very scary!
|
WRONG!
I'll tell you what is scary. It is people like you who think they have a mastery of prophecy, theology, and psychology when they demonstrate they don't even have basic reading comprehension. You could lead a lot of people astray with just a minor misunderstanding.
It does not require an expert grammarian to see that Sarah Palin did not declare that the soldiers were on a task from God. She asked that the congregation pray that the soldiers would be on a task from God.
In this instance, she's asking people to pray that the leaders and soldiers stay in God's will.
Sarah Palin may very well believe dominion theology for all I know. I am not an apologist for her. I just want to make it clear that it cannot be proved from this one prayer request. People need to calm down. Sarah Palin is going to be the subject of the most intense investigation this world has ever known, exactly because she poses such a threat to both leftists and the entrenched political machines.
TK Burk, your post reminds me of those medieval clerics who found fragments of animal bones and widely proclaimed they were relics of Christ, responsible for healings, etc.

That is exactly what I got out of it. God forbid that we would have someone in the White House that would actually listen to the voice of God and believe that God speaks to us today through words of prophecy etc. There is enough wackiness in pentecostal circles to go around, but Sarah Palin does not seem to fit into that category. Is she pentecostal, yes! Is she just like "us" whoever "us" is.....probably not. But I would take 1/2 of her over 1000 Obamas any day. She has the principles we hold dear in her heart and her life is proof.
Whatever the Lord does with her, she will be making a MUCH larger difference than all the whiners combined on this forum who cry and moan that we're not conservative enough. HOGWASH! Thank God for people like Sarah Palin who will ask God to use them any way He sees fit!

Thank you brother.
Just another reminder of why proper reading comprehension is so critical.

Re: Sarah Palin, Todd Bentley, and Dominion Theolo
Another thing to consider. Just because the men mentioned Bentley, Sheets, ect. have spoken of the destiny of Alaska certainly does not make her one of them. Anyone who gave Alaska some thought could see it as having a destiny.
I think she says it will be a place of refuge for many in the time to come. That may well be. It seems like an awesome place.
God is sovereign. If indeed he has chosen and anointed her to be VP or even President nothing will be able to stop it.

Re: Sarah Palin, Todd Bentley, and Dominion Theolo
Hey OP, I am RIGHT! And also, thanks for treating me so kindly. You’ve truly shown yourself to be the exact opposite of how you described me….
OP Carl, TRFrance, ManOfWord, and Pressing-On, what all of you are forgetting—or maybe willingly ignoring—is the FACT that her church OPENLY admits ties to C Peter Wagner’s group. Regardless how she words it, her Sr. Pastor taught her church that the war the US is in is GOD’S WAR. If you think the church she attended since age 12 hasn’t affected her thinking, then maybe we've found the actual comprehension problem??
So, before you fall all over yourselves thinking I flunked out of English 101, you better reread what is REALLY going on….
