if that is true ... than can we ever wrap our minds entirely around Him??? ....
I hope not ... that is idolatry.

To make it easier, ask me specific questions, or my post will be just a bunch of scattered thoughts.

Let's start with Boltz ... your thoughts on his confession ... ?? Do you agree with his present approach to dealing with his sin struggle?

I use "encompassing" to describe what He does for us. Not that I can "encompass" Him.
I'm thinking of Psalm 121 when it uses the word "preserve" and "keeper". Both words mean "hedge about as with thorns".
That is what God is to me - my Keeper, my Preserver.

Since I keep wanting to say more, but have no idea where to start either, I'll jump in on the question game.
No. I don't agree with his present approach to dealing with his sin struggle. But I do understand it.

God did it for us. Out of sheer generosity he put us in right standing with himself. A pure gift. He got us out of the mess we're in and restored us to where he always wanted us to be. And he did it by means of Jesus Christ. ~Romans 3:24 from The Message

Confession is fine if a person genuinely wants help. His confession was more of a "I'm here, I'm queer" statements.
He's not dealing with his sin struggle. He's justifying it. Big difference. Got the T-shirt. Honestly, it's not an easy route. But it does get easier. Key is to give the burden to Jesus. We were never meant to carry these kind of loads. I can say that today I am not who I was a yr ago.

Posters like Joeel, Michael the Disciple and now apparently Jekyll believe in the doctrine of perfection ... which states that if one is filled with Holy Ghost one will not sin and overcome all the time.
Your thoughts on the matter.

Then why does one need Jesus then????
Dan, I do believe there a time in life when one does get to a place in their walk and sin itself no longer seem to be an issues, like it was when your younger. Maybe it has more to with age or Jesus inside of us. Not really sure, my folks are not church goers, but I can say they are godly, more so then some people I know who claim they are.

Why don't you agree with his approach? What specifically bothers you about it?
What is that you can understand about how he is presently dealing with his sin struggle?
