Alcohol- Good in moderation, good for the stomach- the Bible tells me so... and in
Deut. 14:22-26 GOD condones the drinking of "strong drink", it might even be a mitzvot, but I have to check...
Caffeine- as long as you're not addicted
Marijuana- Not cool to me, but it's not really that harmful in moderation. Hemp is GREAT! Hemp rope, clothes, milk (although I prefer rice and almond milk to hemp milk) and protein powder (although I use soy protein powder, very moderately). MA just decriminalized marijuana, to where a person can carry one ounce of it and only be fined. But I don't think it's a good witness for a Christian to smoke marijuana, and I would preach against it.
Tobacco- It's addicting (so are the other stuff, I know, but, tobacco is sort of different, it's actually more addicting than marijuana). I would preach against tobacco.
Marijuana and Tobacco seem really bad to me, I don't know if it's based on my culture or what, and I know some could use the "herb" argument on me, but in our US culture, it's just not wise to smoke either of those things. They're damaging to the body, along with other things, I know, like chocolate cake, but they just seem to be worse for some reason.
