I find this mindset to be more prevalent in the older generation.
*Decrying the lack of neckties and suits, not only in the church but in the work place.
*Very resistant to new praise and worship music, preferring instead the old hymns from the UPCI "Songs of Praise" songbooks.
*Crying "armageddon" when a church does away with a Sunday evening service.
*No stage lighting or fog machines, etc.
Nothing wrong with reminiscing, but when one lives in the past, they can never be effective in the present, or build for the future.
