Have we turned the notion of Israel into a secular thing, somewhat like many denominations have turned church into a social club where resurrection, virgin birth and creation are not even elements of faith any more?
I see a connection.
Saying Israel is like any other nation and should have their homeland is involved in denying the fact that God told Samuel they rejected Him when they wanted a king like other nations.
Israel IS NOT TO BE LIKE any other nation.
