I guess an update is due:
First this thread was in fun. I love Steve and his honest posts so this was done with less than serious intent. I wasn't going to change minds or convince them that we are right, but to give a good witness of God's grace in our church and community.
The service went well, we had two members of our church give an testimony (which by the way they shared within good taste) how Jesus healed them, delivered them and one even told how the Holy Spirit came upon him and he prayed in tongues.
The Catholic Church was the most modern, large, expansive, open and airy Catholic Church I have ever been in. Nothing like the old, damp and dark churches that I have been in the past.
The service was well attended, along with us and the 2 AOG pastors, the Catholics were outnumbered, so some measure of God's truth and power was present.
