I was there in October 2008 for a service. I was invited to attend. The baptistmal tank is about 25 feet in the air. Rod Parsley's right hand man took the mic and said service was going to start later than usual because there were more people than expected getting baptized. The preacher did the honors of saying the words over baptism. There was no doubt about in anyone's mind the preacher said in the name of Jesus before the person went under. Kind of hard to know how one wants to be baptized if they are 25-30 feet away from the dunking. I can only testify to what I've seen and what I've heard.
And I wouldn't argue with you at all.
I'm sure they consult with the person before baptism, however.

I have been thinking today, about how proud some of us are that we're Apostolic.
At times, it even seems like we think that being thought of as Apostolic, is more important than being thought of as Christians.
Is it possible to be caught up in being more of something, that we forget our purpose?
I think I understand what your trying to say, but if your full of pride, are you really Apostolic?
The heresy hunters are still with us. Only now, instead of stakes, they use their books and radio programs to destroy those they consider heretics.... I'm concerned that heresy hunting may be turning into leukemia because some cultwatchers seem more intent on destroying parts of the body than healing the body....
Read my response. No way the preacher 25 feet below could know how the person wanted to be baptized. The preacher invoked the name of Jesus in baptism just like any good ''apostolic'' would.

To live forever in a state of separation from God is a frightening thought. You can make sure that you are right with God by turning to Him and praying this prayer:
“God, I am a sinner in need of a Savior. I REPENT, and I ask you to forgive me of all my sin.
“I BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is your Son, that He shed His blood so I might be forgiven, that He rose again from the dead, and He is coming back again.
“I CONFESS Him now as my Savior. I will live for you as you show me how. Amen.”
By believing in Jesus Christ and receiving Him as your Savior, you will turn your life in a new direction. You can be at peace with God knowing you will live forever with Him.
THis coincides with what his associate minister told me when I spoke on the phone - they believe baptism is a subsequent act of salvation, so they won't haggle over the formula.
