Re: Some opinions wanted

Thanks. I was attempting to get a better understanding of the situation. I didn't want you to think you were going to get a beatdown.

I've had people walk out on me three times. One lady did twice, from the front row. *Edited by Admin* Thank God she started going elsewhere, some other preacher's problem. I feel bad praying that God heals her cancer. Judgement is swift.

One other lady walked out on me last week. The lady hasn't been to church over three months. She's been attending with some of the crack heads who are spreading lies about my pastor. I may have hacked her off when I said if you don't get what you need from God today, it's your fault. I said if your kids aren't saved, it is because they don't want anything to do with your religion.

Other than those two, I've had pretty good sucess in keeping people glued to their seats.

Now the church is rid of all the self righteous sanctimonious people, I may be able to redo my sermon based on Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb. The downside, the message is for the self righteous bigots, and wouldn't apply to the on fire coverts we have now. It's a message that for those who need it won't understand the analogy, and if they do they would go into convulsions.

I'm quite relieved I didn't walk into your church when I walked back into church.

Re: Some opinions wanted

If you acted like them, I gald you didn't come.

I"m too busy winning the lost to have to babysit saints who should know better.

If you have been saved for 10-20 years and still cause dissention, lie, cheat, complain about the church, complain about the pastor, I have no need for you. Don't come crying for help when your kids aren't saved when all you did was talk bad about the people who could help them.

The people I love to lead are those who aren't perverted by religion. Those who have nothing to lose so they put their faith in Jesus.

The people I love to help is a lady named Nancy who recently began to come to church with her nine year old grandson. She came to the Connect Group (aka cell group) meeting my wife and I had last week with a friend. I spoke about 15 minutes, then gave everyone an opportunity to speak. She said loved coming to our church because she was still coping with the murder of her daughter.

She said she was struggling with hatred for the man who murdered her daughter and she wanted delivered. She testified Sunday since that Thursday evening, she has been able to sleep like a baby. An unexplainable peace has overshadowed her.

But that's not all. Someone gave her over $200 in cash she wasn't expecting.

Why should I waste my time with the self righteous? The quicker they are gone, the more God moves. I would take one Nancy over 1,000 of those two ladies who walked out of our church with rebellious attitudes. Nancy will do more for God in 2009 than those ladies combined in 30 years. Nancy is good ground. Nancy is worth the investment.

Hope that clears that up.

For the record, I hope you fall into the Nancy category as one who is hungering and thirsting after rightesousness as opposed to the other two ladies mentioned. Those ladies had already arrived in their mind. Why waste the energy Why allow them to poison others? People like those two ladies in the previous post killed enough new converts I won, it was time for them to move on anyway.

Before I would be willing to comment here, i want to know if this kind of action would have happened if the pastor was at the service?

One time my pastor went out of town and the fellow left in charge did some things that insured he was never left in charge again.

Did a mistake happen here? Sure looks like it. Was it a function of the way this church operates or was it a function of inexperienced or unthinking people being left to handle things in the pastors absence?

I think these are important questions before skewering these folk.
Could be someone was trying to get brownie points with the pastor.

Re: Some opinions wanted

If a church has to take up four offerings to meet the need of the children's ministry, chances are the congregations' heart isn't into it. I would have given everything I had the first time.

Think about the confusion that would cause. If I were a guest, I wouldn't make a second trip.

I feel bad for the children. What message does that send to children if it takes 4 offereings at one to deliver funds to reach the gosepl on church level.

Maybe it's just me, but I think some severe editing needs to be done here.

Admin note: Next time, reporting it will be sufficient. No need to quote it, point it out and make extra editing work for admin to take care of.

Very sad.

So glad God is God, and He has the final say.

I will never feel bad that I prayed for God to heal someone, I don't care what they have done to me, or what I think they may have done to me.

We must remember judgement will come to our house also.

This has to be one of the absolute DISGUSTING posts I have ever read on any forum I have been on.

If you are a pastor, then that makes it worse. Guys like you, give us a BAD name.

How dare you say, on the internet, that you feel bad praying that God will heal her cancer. You, my friend, are in some kind of bad shape. '

How can a Man of God, have that kind of attitude and be PROUD of it. It's beyond me, and I NEVER want to find out.

ABSOULTELY DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Some opinions wanted

I can live with it if it were just me. But this lady ran of countless people with her gossip, her holier than thou attitude. Members of her family told me she made an inappropriate video with a relative. She got hacked off at me often, but no doubt the cancer was divine retribution. She totally disrespected the pastor. She lied about the pastor, the church, the people.

I don't care what people say or do to me. I let that go with no problem. Don't go after my church or my pastor. I won't stop until the last drop of blood hits the ground.

I told a family member if they didn't get right with God their children would be committing suicide. Within 2 months, I was rushing their daughter to the emergency room after she took a deliberate overdosed of muscle relaxers..

As I mentioned in another post. I'm through playing games with these people. I'm tired of these people throwing thowing people back into the fire as quick as I can pull them out. Our church is finally in the place where people are not being runned off by disgruntled saints.

Spiritual warfare is bloody and messy. There are casualties. If people choose to be part of the problem, they suffer the consequences.

People make the choices which side they want to fight for. If they want to fight against my church and my pastor, they have to go through me.
