Here's my question to folks that celebrate and buy xmas gifts... Why don't you just stop giving gifts on xmas, and then on the 26th, 27th or sometime before January 1st, take advantage of most stuff being half off, and then give those gifts on January 1st as "New Years Gifts"? I convinced my Methodist aunt to do it, and she thought it was one of the few good ideas I've ever had
