The government isn't always capable of adequately determining justice in EVERY account. Surely we have executed a small number of innocent people who were wrongfully convicted. To support a system that could execute a single innocent or wrongfully convicted person is something that I find difficult. For the sake of that one innocent person, I stand against the death penalty.
Does this mean that justice isn't served when a murderer isn't executed? Only if you believe that justice is restricted to this world. I believe that God Almighty is the final and true arbitrator of justice. I support incarceration for life and leave justice to God.
Just my thoughts.

I am not against the concept of a death penalty. I just realize that it has not been justly carried in this country.
The Bible is clear in stating there is a time to kill.
I'm saying that if there was a time where the death penalty is appropriate, it is appearing to me that this case would also be appropriate.
Am I the only one that has the impression that this little girl was actually dismembered?
