One rendering of "trust" that I found so beautiful is in Job. Yachal - to wait or to be patient.
"Though he slay me - yet - will I wait patiently for Him." Beautiful!!!
Another definition - "chacah - to flee for protection.
Psalm 91:4 "He shall cover thee with his feathers and under His wings shalt thou - flee for protection." Beautiful!!!
You get the idea!
Thanks for all your instruction and input, thus far!!!

Ya did good!
Another outstanding example of how the use of some English words miss the concept originally conveyed in the Hebrew. Also, from the original verb root (Hebrew being a verb based - action - language rather than a noun based - object - language such as English), we frequently miss out on the picture: sound, feel and look and sometimes the emotion of the subject.
So, when doing a translation (word study) remember to check the root verbs(s) to get the sense of the word usage.
Me? again as I said earler, I am still a student too.
