and I have found some fruit scents to be overwhelming....and some florals as well.
There isnt much of a happy medium in candles - in both categories - its either not strong enough or too strong.
I found a pear scented one at the "Everythings $1" store and it's been the best one I've had LOL. I dont have to light it to smell it and it's not overwhelming.
I find that I don't care for a good many of the fruit scents. They seem sickly sweet. Pomegranate is very nice and, as I said, I do really like Apples and Maple Bourbon. It is elegant and light on the apple.

You are so right, Theresa. There are people who want a really strong candle and some that want something light.
Getting ready to test burn Oatmeal Raisin. I'm not real big on the food scent candles.
Several years ago when we lived in Arkansas,I bought a potpourri jar from a lady where I worked. I still have it though I have changed the lights in it.
It was filled with potpourri (choice of scent) and short christmas lights then a dollie and decorated with ribbons. I really like it.
