As far as I'm aware, ANY gay couple can get married in a religious ceremony. The only reason they want the approval of the government is so they can reap financial benefits such as tax breaks.
So gays are not being discriminated against in regard to marriage, anyway. They can print off their own license, and consider themselves married, and I really couldn't care less from a political standpoint. Their whole "cause" is a big lie, though, because it's not about "Relationships"--it's about money. Plain and simple.
