OK, let me break it down for you. Some people believe in magic hair. And they point to healings etc. as evidence that this teaching is true. It doesn't
always work, but they ignore or downplay or explain away the times it doesn't work, and show off the times it (ostensibly) did work, and call it proof.
Some people believe, as you do, and I agree, that the Bible teaches divine healing. Maybe not in James (though I think most see it the way I do), but in several other places. And they point to healings that they have seen or experienced as evidence that this teaching is true. It doesn't
always work, but they ignore or downplay or explain away the times it doesn't work, and show off the times it (ostensibly) did work, and call it proof.
See the application?
