I can never find anything good on - so ours just sits there most of the time. But when there's a big news story breaking I want to be able to follow it on several different channels.

Maybe you should check out and see if you have a local PBS television channel that gives remedial English lessons. You strike me as the kind of guy who would benefit greatly from educational television programming.
