Well, according to coadie, unless the Bible tells you TO do it, you shouldn't be doing it, so you'd better get yourself on over to RobesRUs.
Are you insulting?
Actually we have a fantastic church. We have highly educated teachers, pastors etc. Some people don't think. were not raised to ask about man made religious traditions and why do something. Our fine church calls us to question practices we can't find in the bible.
All we can find is the Egyptians were strong into porn, sex goddess worship, astrology, cosmetics over and beyond clensing and fragrances.
Like we raised our children. every body is doing it is not a reason to do it.

Not at all. Studying the history of believers is actually eye opening.
Years ago I hired a man that owned a new Age / Occult store. He was referred to me. He had help take care of his business. i picked his brain on the occult, eastern religions and his visits to Egypt.
It is a real eye opener to find out what we do and why we do it.
I even know one of his workers. She worked for my company 2 times in the 80's.
You all apparently are gullible and have no intention of learning how deeply developed the cosmetics industry is in the pagan action of Egypt. Casting a spell on a man in the course of attracting him has been around a long time.
It is sad that people check to see if their food is clean but won't invest a moment to see if their lifestyle comes from the pharoahs world or from the Holy Ghost.
It blew my mind seeing the Mother child idols in visiting various Egyptian Museums. They also have fantastic details on the goddess worship and pagan practices we have seen enthusiastically embraced.
I'm really wanting to know WHO coadie is. So far I've gathered that he is a former Mennonite who went to secular college, studied human psychology, and apparently has a medical degree, because he has performed circumcisions and knows that women wear no makeup just prior to surgery. ...although at some point, I believe he mentioned that he had counseled people, so that would mean maybe he is a psychiatrist--who also performs medical procedures on the side?
Also, he has met with Gloria Steinem and Jane Fonda's ex personally. (Although "met" and "met with" are two different things....)
What a diverse guy. I'm going to keep collected tidbits until we have a clearer pictures.
Somehow, in spite of having entered the medical profession and studying human psychology, he manages to be ultra conservative, politically, and is self-sufficient, even to the point of his family making their own food.
I think, coadie, that I will start an unauthorized biography on you!

Cosmo is about cosmos or cosmetics.
I suspect people obsessed with all things cosmetic would want the freshest tips and methods.
No, "Cosmo" is more likely based on the word cosmopolitan, which would deal with the sophisticated, worldly woman in all areas that interest her.
I don't read such trash.

Well, "Granny" Clampet did all of the above. If there was any "doctoring", she was the one to do it. She also grew/canned/prepared all their own food.
