EB, I for one would love to beat you over the head with something, anything.

But, I agree with Steve Epley here. The conclusiveness simply isn't there, IMHO. I have to just learn to find some way to get along with you on these points even if I don't agree with you.

This is what they are gonna ask you, the FP's.

1- Define rapture, use verses.

2- Partials (Like Epley) will tell you yes, FP's will tell you it is past!

Not much love there but it is efficient!

One is past two are future. Most preterist BOTH Partial & Full believe ALL of Mt. 24 was fulfilled in 70 AD along with every prophecy thus God has had NOTHING to say about the last 1900 years of man's history NOR the future.
All prophecy is a little obscure footnote in a history book which the majority of the populace has never heard of.
Futurist teach what Jesus & Apostles taught that Jesus truly is comng again to catch His church away, resurrect the dead, judge the wicked.
MARANATHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It appears to me that indeed you are, at best, a partial preterist, regardless of your pretensions to the opposite. You can claim it all day long but you fit within the terms. Preterism just means past. Period. Men take and try to add things to it but the word just means past. So by it's definition you are partial, at least 1/3.

We have see it in the last 4-5 years. The terms Partial and Full are just used by some to be able to draw the sword and slay their Brother and feel justified in doing it.

Sorry for the truth, but that is truth.

NOT a partial I believe in the future catching away of the church, the future tribulation, the future restoration of Isreal, ALL of Rev. 6-19 is future with the exception of those passages that clearly state they are past.
NO PP.

Only the destruction of the temple which was the first question. NO PP would call me a PP.

I do not think either Brother would feel that way. I like them personally and they seem to like me. I do pray for them(that is an honest statement) I think they are good guys but this heresy will cause them to be lost. I am NOT rejoicing over the fact.

I'd have to say that that I just don't understand the extremity of the judgment here. I don't agree with the "Apostolic Full Preterist" view because no one has ever been able to to tell me, "Lo, here is (or was) Christ..." without taking me through their closets and secret rooms.

The implications of this can certainly be huge and I think that's where Steve Epley rises to the challenge. But the AFPs aren't offering a "false Christ," in my view; they simply haven't offered anything at all.

What we are seeing with men of his stripe is that they are pulling out the swords and slaying anyone who does not agree with them. It is the old pharisees attitude again.

I asked those futurists, in another thread, if they felt the FP's were lost and he said yes. They have made this salvational.

No wonder Paul wrote:

1Co 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

I have come to the point that I don't want to hear any of it preached. Give me acts 2:38.

Brother Benicasa,

I have challenged you to a plain debate with a straight forward topic DO YOU ACCEPT OR DECLINE?
