A mother walked into her son's bedroom one Sunday morning, angrily telling him he had to get up and go to church.

He responded, "NO, I DON'T WANT TO! THOSE PEOPLE DON'T LIKE ME, THEY'RE ALWAYS TALKING ABOUT ME, AND RUNNING ME IN THE GROUND. THEY DON'T EVEN LIKE ME OR WANT ME THERE. I DON'T WANT TO GO AND YOU CAN'T MAKE ME. GIVE ME TWO REASONS I SHOULD GO!'

The mother placed her hands on her hips and replied, "Number 1, you are 40 years old. Act like it. Number 2, you're THE PASTOR!"
