airport security is hired to find weapons and names of people in the system that have threats in the past. You can't blow up a plane with paper currency.

Starting April 13th I'll be working at the local airport as a SIDA security controller for internal employees and contractors. I'll work under the airport division of the local police department. These police officers are police officers and can react as any law enforcement officer. Just because they are working the airport doesn't mean that they can only police weapons and those who are listed on STA. They are looking for terrorists, drug dealers, kidnappers, slave traders, arms dealers, theives, con-men, smugglers, etc. And in a post 9/11 it's not easy. And then factor in idiots like this giving you a bad day.
