Well, I think he was trying to prove a point, and HE knew he was recording the conversation. If it had been me, I would have just said, "I just came from a fundraising event, and these are the funds collected from t-shirt/bumper sticker sales, etc." I do realize that we don't HAVE to give certain information, and I respect his right to withhold it. As one of the guys in the video stated, keeping him off the airplane is one thing; escorting him to the police station simply for carrying cash on his person (or in his suitcase) is really stupid. What next? Are police officers who stop people for speeding going to go through their purses, wallets and vehicles to see if they're carrying cash, and take them down for questioning if they have more than a certain amount?
