I think that we're either for profiling or we're not. I personally am not opposed to all profiling, even after being submitted to it myself. But here's the point...profiling is not just along the lines of race, ethnicity, and religion. There are certain behavioral profiles that are applied and can be an indication that there is a greater than normal possibility of something illegal going on. Travelling with large amounts of cash hidden away and then being vague or evasive in questioning certainly fits a profile in my opinion. I don't believe we can embrace profiling when it inconveniences others and then be outraged when the possiblity arises that it may inconvenience us.
