Re: Immunization Party

The leaf of the rub-barb plant is pretty good for a variety of ailments. Or so I hear.

LOL!

You realize you'd have to eat 5Kg of leaves for them to be lethal? Give or take of course.

I think the root would be far more useful.

I was worried about what the dentist might say when I finally got back to town; but he pretended not to notice my "home dentistry" effort and said nothing. It was a relief though and it didn't hurt a bit.

Re: Immunization Party

I am still waiting to hear what the "natural" cure is for cancer, polio, small pox (if it was still around -which it is not, thanks to immunizations) and especially rabies.

If someone was bitten by a rabid dog or bat what root or herb would they take to cure themselves of it?

Or, if you can't find that on your supermarket shelves, roughly equivalent:

Guys like Kevin Trudeau are the bane of progress.

You can spend hours and years of logic to refute him, yet one "wink" and it is all undone to the easily influenced.

The "natural cure" for the bite of a rabid dog is known as lycanthropy. The bite of a rabid bat has a similar "natural" course to run.

It all works out okay but you do have to give up garlic.

Because there is some truth to what he says. I don't like Kevin Trudeau, he seems like a snake oil salesman, but I am very interested in natural cures....I think a lot of it does work. On the flip side, sometimes it doesn't.
