Why should you be offended? The truth is she was not even CLOSE to being half dressed from what I saw. There was not much left to be revealed and THAT constitutes sin.

12: For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
13: But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person. 1 Cor. 5:12-13

Would you be ok with her wearing that bathing suit in your Church? Would your Pastor feel it was an example of holiness?

If she claims to be a Christian we are allowed to judge immoral conduct.

I have no ill will toward the young lady. Like I said I lay the blame at the feet of whoever is teaching here the Bible. Yet she is not excused. She needs to repent and grow in grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.

I applaud what she said about marriage. Yet it certainly robs her moral authority to be standing ALMOST FULLY NAKED in front of the world as she said it.

It was a contest...a game show...and while a respect her for holding to her beliefs...I also believe that the game show has every right to judge it according to thier rules/standards...not my moral standards. He is a militant homosexual....why would you expect anything different?

I'm sure if she were to read this thread....where she is being compared to people who commit sex acts on film for money....that she would see the true heart of Christ and seek to know Him better. THIS IS SICK!!!

I know this response wasn't aimed at me, but I would like to take a stab at this part (several parts actually if time permitting).

The "would you wear this to church?" argument is blatantly flawed. I wear shorts all the time, but do not wear them to church. I also don't wear them to work. I probably wouldn't wear them to a wedding or funeral either (unless it was themed -the wedding, not the funeral). Likewise I would not wear a suit to the beach. I also would not wear a tuxedo to church, but would wear one to a "black tie" dinner or (really) fancy restaurant.

This is right up there with the "would you do this if your pastor was watching?" argument I have heard a couple of times. This one is even worse because there is a WHOLE lotta things I wouldn't do in front of him -yet do all the time. I am sure you can list a few things without thinking too hard. I hear people thinking "But would you do them in front of Jesus??? Ahhh HA!". Well, the brief answer is YES (since He is watching anyways). In fact, there are probably many things that many pastors would consider to be a sin that Jesus is just fine with.
