Some men are effeminate, and that should be dealt with. However, saying effeminacy necessarily equals homosexuality is like saying a woman with a gregarious personality (which can be viewed as "flirty") is necessarily an adulteress. Not good to make those kinds of leaps.

Judging someone to be or not is one thing, but if they are openly homosexual, they are judging themselves unfit to lead others in the ways of rightousness.

Quit trying to be so politically correct.  "Sexuality" shouldn't play into the discussion? If a person is public with their sexuality, they give others the right to have an opinion about it, and to express that opinion. If they didn't want to give others that right, they should keep it private.
Regardless, AI has always been about the whole package. Not just the singing. They have to look good, be good, and perform well on stage as well as be able to sing. If I decide to take the time to vote for someone (which is rare anyway), I will consider everything about them that concerns me.

I thought his rendition of Johnny Cash's RING OF FIRE was the weirdest thing I'd ever heard.
Adam has a GREAT voice... but I'd never vote for him... even if he wasn't gay and even tho he is polite. I wouldn't vote for him because he is WEIRD!
Danny is a a great example of what an AMERICAN IDOL should be. Love that guy!

If one confesses to being homosexual it is obvious. And I would similarly say that about effeminacy. If someone claims to be effeminate, it's clear. If others think they are but they deny it - it should be handled by a councelor and they should submit to instruction.
In all cases it should be treated seriously by church leadership. It is not cute or funny.

I can honestly say I had no clue who Adam Lambert was nor did I care nor was I shocked.
I just wonder, are we allowing our kids to view this stuff and put idea's in their minds as to what is ok and what is normal?
