if you want to supply a scientific study that looks at the American population, adjusts for income level (because income has a direct correlation to weight) and compare that to UPCI churches, then lets talk.

And I am in denial because I make pretty regular trips to Wal-Mart and see very large people wearing stuff that wouldn’t clothe a church mouse. (They certainly aren’t Pentecostal.

This would be laughable if it wasn’t so sad.

PS, some of our fellow posters in this thread don’t even like the traditional Oneness Pentecostal Church even a little bit. They are just using this as a convenient chance to take a pot shot.

I do think you are off on the notion that our problem is different than the greater culture.

It is an AMERICAN CULTURAL issue.

We do agree that we ought to be talking about it, we ought to be dealing with it, we ought to better than the American Culture.


We ought to be working to heal our people who have addiction issues.
