Notta.

LOL! Definitely....

Re: Public Breast Feeder
Wow...
It's been many many years but I did breastfeed and was active in La Leche League.
Back in the day (70's) it had not become as accepted as it is today but I persevered. Most of this due to the support of La Leche League.
I nursed in restaurants, church and the mall. You just have to be creative.
In church it was at two separate weddings, and it would have been more of a scene to get up and walk out. I did have a lovely shawl draped over my shoulder.
At the mall not all ladies facilities have a nice lounge area. I recall shopping at Famous Barr and it was time for a feeding. I asked the salesclerk if I could use the fitting room. The two older children played in one cubbie and I sat on a chair in the one next to it and fed the baby.

Re: Public Breast Feeder
I don't have an issue if someone does nurse in public. It is a natural function.
Some babies don't like blankets on their head!
I nursed until she was 20 mos and she self weaned. The only people that gave me grief were the "church" ladies.

As for how to respond, "I think it's great that you're feeding your baby. We need to see more of it so it becomes normal and expected."

I for one wish the UPC would get rid of it's old thinking, maybe open up some Pentecostal nudist camps or in the very least allow the ladies to run around pointing at general conferences where we already got rid of that silly facial hair rule
It's all the man's fault for viewing milking devices as something sexual.
GOOD GRIEF!!!!

You've heard about the ultra con who was preaching hot and strong against men appearing in public without a shirt?
Well, as he waxed loud and strong under the anointing, he said, "Why I'd rather see a woman in public with no blouse than to see a man in public with no shirt!!"
Most of the men were afraid to say, "Amen."

Re: Public Breast Feeder
I realize this doesn't apply to anyone on here, but what really irks me is when someone thinks it's okay to wear a very skimpy bikini on the beach, but then thinks it's indecent for someone to feed her child.

Re: Public Breast Feeder
I personally feel a little uncomfortable around nursing mothers. A couple of my daughters-in-law nursed and my one daughter nursed her fourth (and last) child. I just don't stare.
I don't think it is wrong or immoral. The problem is ours, not the mother's.
