Common folks. Danny is a boring, vanilla, bland, Richard Marx/Bryan Adams clone. Though, I agree he seems like a nice guy. But we're not watching American Nice Guy, are we ...?

And since when does weird = evil? Adam's Ring of Fire had a middle-eastern sound to it, but I don't see how it was evil.
