Hmmm .... where did I say we should go to war with NK? Also, to mock the intelligence on WMD's which led to the Iraq war puts me at odds with the three mentioned above, certainly not in their same camp.

All I'm simply saying is you cannot just ignore a spoiled brat indefinitely ... sooner or later, the spoiled brat will push the envelope further to try to get more attention.

wasn't Pearl Harbor "created" (or at least allowed to happen) by FDR in order to get the US into a war with Japan?

We should have shot down their first missile and bombed their nuclear facilities.

I disagree with this approach.

NK will only go so far. This Korean man is not suicidal.

He may not be suicidal ... but he's truly mentally demented. And in his little brain, I'm sure he thinks he has a chance of beating us. That's all that matters. If he thinks he can shoot enough missles at enough targets and inflict maximum damage - maybe he can get BHO's attention.

He is delusional. He thinks he is a god and his people look at him that way. He is and has already developed Nukes. He is and has already developed the capacity to hit as far as Alaska. It was suicidal to allow such a regime to have nukes. The more countries that get nukes the more dangerous our world becomes.

Look at Pakistan. Also do you realize that NK can also sell this technology to other nations? Or even to terrorists? NK wants money.

Re: Anyone besides me tired of the N.Korea games..

That should not be considered leverage. They knew what they were getting into and it would be stupid to allow a rogue nation to hold the world...or just the US "hostage" like this.

I remember the Iran hostage crisis and the "joke" that went around then. "what is covered in sand and glowing?" "Iran if they touch any of the hostages" or something like that...I think maybe it was glass not sand since the sand would turn to glass.

We have the ability, though our forces are stretched, to inflict great destruction on infrastructure to NK, including nuke facilities, missiles, launch platforms, navy and anything else they have. We can give Kim a black eye with out moving land based forces.
