As my son ran to the shed for a machete to kill it with, I tried to watch to see where it was going in my house. My son said Mom go get in my truck. I said why it's not coming toward me..lol I was more concerned about his baby boy inside the house than myself. After searching for a good 5 minutes he found it under our entertainment center, he killed it by chopping off it's head. He brought the snake to me so I could see if it was a chicken snake, which I thought it was at first. Nope, it was a 4 ft long cooperhead. The head was still moving and I said Robert do something about that head, he said it's just it's nerves Mom. I said I don't care kill it!!!!!! He said it's dead, I said not dead enough. Holding the body of the snake in front of me, blood dripping, I was talking to my husband on the phone who was at work. He said tell him to burn the head, whew he burned the whole thing, thank the Lord. I know God protected me, it could have fell on my head or bitten me. I am thinking I want to move out of the country.........LOL
