Some would argue that if a man tells a woman to teach, she is in obedience by doing as told.
Some would say that in the Corinthian churches women were yelling out questions and disrupting services, and that this is what Paul was talking about.
Others could say we aren't under the law, but under grace.
Others say that
1 Corinthians 14:34 "Let your women
keep silence in the churches: for
it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law"
means they should totally keep their mouths shut-no singing, no speaking, no teaching, no testifying-keep silence, not a peep.
