No, they're not!!!! They're actually witty. You have to pay attention to the dialogue. 
But then, I love Wallace and Gromit, too, so I'm not sure what that says about my sophisticated taste.

I loved those! I grew up listening to Adventures in Odyssey, Unshackled, and a few other Saturday morning kids' shows. (Can't remember the names....) I also remember listening to Mystery Theater with my Dad!
