...but when people say evil things or degrading things about people who do not believe like they do I think something is wrong.
Yes, something is wrong when people do this. Terribly, shamefully wrong.

Yep. One of the things I'm struggling with, the spirit of it, and the fact of it.

Amen, amen, amen!!!
Mt 23:23 could sure be paraphrased well for today. I almost posted it earlier in paraphrase.
WOW...we were all going in our Bikini's to meet you at the airport now we will have to change our plans! We will take the humble side and show up in our robes and playing the shofar! Might get them to dance the hora...ha...
*gasp* dance? They might dance? And a specified step at that? In the world I danced like that! *oh, my*
(actually did once, really, but it sure wasn't a sin. Worse than that, it was a mixed dance, there were men and women dancing together. I also danced the minuet once at work, and the hokey pokey at church! Now time freezes on AFF as everyones screens melt down from the huge electrical surge after MM is struck by lightning for admitting such a thing...)
Oh, well, just don't meet them dancing in your bikini... You don't want them to pass out before they are off the tarmack.

I enjoyed square dancing and waltzing in the world, but the poor people I was dancing with didn't. I think I have three left feet.
Dad's fault. He "taught" me to dance as a kid by telling me to stand on his feet while he moved around the dance floor. He couldn't dance either, but I faithfully, dilligently learned and kept repeating the one thing he taught me-to always step on his toes!!
Sister Alvear, be warned! I saw the legalistic list of RULES that Sherri's church has. Even Epley could not say yea and Amen to their platform "disciplines". And no - I kid not!
Can't say I did not warn you.
